Refund and Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions

StudyTracker AI offers monthly subscriptions: Starter (£3/month) and Pro (£7/month). Payments are processed by Stripe.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (Settings → Manage subscription). There are no cancellation fees.

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged again after that date
  • Your account automatically reverts to the Free plan at period end
  • Your data (assignments, tasks, organiser sessions) is retained on the Free plan within its limits

Refunds

Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, as you retain access to the service for the full paid period.

Exceptions — we will consider a refund if:

  • You were charged after cancelling, due to a billing error on our part
  • A critical bug prevented you from using the core features for the majority of a paid billing period
  • You were charged twice for the same period

To request a refund, email support@studytrackerai.co.uk within 14 days of the charge with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

Consumer rights (UK)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription from the date of purchase. However, by agreeing to our Terms and beginning to use the service immediately after payment, you acknowledge that the service has begun and your right to a full refund under this provision may be reduced accordingly.

Free plan

The Free plan has no payment and therefore no refund considerations.
